Head of People Operations

About the Position

This is a unique ground-floor opportunity for a highly motivated and resourceful person to be our first People Operations leader as we double our team size this year. The goal is to continue building Printfection into an amazing place to work where our teams can grow and are challenged to do their best work every day.

In this role, you'll be involved in every people aspect from recruiting, onboarding and supporting the team to our culture and remote working strategies. You'll lead, engage and motivate the team to accomplish developmental and company goals.

The Company

Printfection is a swag management platform which makes it easy for marketing managers to create and distribute branded merchandise. We’re the first SaaS solution revolutionizing the historically stagnant $25 billion dollar promo products industry.

Customers include Zendesk, InVision, Gusto, Discord and many other category leaders.

After working remotely for half the week for the past 10 years, we became a fully remote company in 2020. All of our processes, management and culture is focused around trusting our team to do great work wherever they’re located. We're a fun, mature startup based in Denver that's bootstrapped, profitable, and growing fast.


  • Work directly with our CEO to build our recruiting, culture, management, onboarding and HR processes.
  • Understand, support and embody our culture which reinforces our values, sustains morale and encourages feedback. A culture which embraces and is resilient to growth and attracts incredible new talent.
  • Design and optimize recruitment strategies with our leaders to attract exceptional people (we plan on adding 20+ people this year). 
  • Optimize our team members' onboarding, career pathing and professional development.
  • Coach our leaders and team members to maximize performance, engagement and success within Printfection.
  • Champion and implement practices to support a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace.
  • Own, improve and maintain all our HR resources, processes, benefits and standards.


  • You have 5+ years of experience building, leading and motivating high growth teams and helping people succeed and thrive excites you.
  • You've worked within small, under 50 person companies and helped them scale their teams during rapid growth.
  • You have experience working with and ensuring the success of fully remote/ distributed teams.
  • You have a strong understanding of HR processes, compliance requirements and best practices.
  • Experience with Topgrading a huge plus.
  • You pride yourself on polished, easy-to-understand written and verbal communication and love helping others achieve the same.
  • You're a self-managed team player who can function with ambiguity and a proactive problem solver.
  • You have a deadline mentality, are detail oriented, and have a passion for building things which scale.
